    32 Tamiya Birdcage

Also, as for me not being a pilot, I don't see how I would know this info. :p:

    32 Tamiya Birdcage

As far as the flaps go, it's only full flaps or none at all. I did it just to do something different. Sort of artistic license.

Every time I try, Bob, I get a " image too large for this site" Bob.

    32 Tamiya Birdcage

The guys at the club wouldn't know the difference, John.

    32 Tamiya Birdcage

The biggest contention for me concerning any Tamiya Corsair kit is the wing panel fit. There is no secure connection when the outer panels are brought to mate up with the inner ones. As a result, there is always a misalignment between the two. In the 32 scale kits it is very much less so but it...

    Tamiya Birdcage Corsair

Yeah, those wing panels are the reason I don't have a 48 Corsair.

Artwork I have been working on

My late aunt would have really loved that rooster. The other three are as awesome as well.

    Pocher Rolls Royce Phantom 1:8

Well Bakelite makes sense to me. Fairly heat resistant but after a while brittle. That color looks pretty authentic to me, Paddy. Keep on keeping on, as we say here. AS for the cotter pins in the linkages I am sure that you could come up with a suitable replacement as well as being more scale...

    Pocher Rolls Royce Phantom 1:8

Im glad you are good at free hand. If I did something like that it would look as if a 9 year old had done it.

    Pocher Rolls Royce Phantom 1:8

I agree with Bob. The crank looks as if has be running and you can even see the oil pick up holes in the bottom of the con rods. in some of your pics I could hardly tell that it wasn't a full sized car until the battery. This looks like a full series of Paddy and his Rolls.

    AMT 1/48 A-20B

An awesome finish, John. This reminds me of a book that a read several years ago, "Wreaking Havoc". It's about a fellow who flew them in the PTO. Told about skip bombing and anti shipping, plus a few ferry flights. A quick read.

    Wake Island Wildcat

Yes and there used to be a bit of a more complete write up that was done on another site but I don't seem to be able to find it. I'll post more when I do. https://au.forceswarrecords.com/memorial/653612513/clyde-douglas-wilsford-usmc/gallery

    Wake Island Wildcat

This would be cool. Just a bit of non essential Wilsford knowledge. My uncle, Clyde D Wilsford was attached to VMF 211. I don't know if he was an enlisted pilot of just air crew but I have seen pictures of him with wings. He was killed on Wake Island December 8th '41. The only info about him...

    Drying booth

I saw where one guy who used drying booths for gun smithing made from plexi-glass a hair dryer and an incandescent light bulb, but I digress. But to answer your question, no, I haven't seen one of these used.

    Border Models 1/35 Ju 87 G-1/2

I bought this kit a year ago and started it then. Go side tracked and it sat in the back of the shelf until yesterday' I think it is a pretty good kit with minimal fuss. Read the instructions because there are a few miss numbered parts and sprues. however, the kit comes together fairly well. I...
