Look s good even with the mottle finish being a little rough. Have you tried using paint thinner? I use it for gloss enamels and it works wonders in the finish.

Well MP, you can leave the plane empty and just add the driver to the tug. Although there is a figure of a pilot looking backwards while the plane is being tugged, you can use that one also.

Maybe manufacturers don't expect you to show the bottom of the model! But you are doing a marvelous work on this one!
