    AMT '67 Mustang Fastback--Completed 05/20

I finally got around to installing the PE grill into place and adding the fog light system. I still have to touch the fog light chrome up but will wait until I've got everything on the car so I don't risk messing the touch ups up with excessive handling.

    AMT '67 Mustang Fastback--Completed 05/20

Thanks fellas. Sorry for the late reply. Just got a little busy over the last few weeks as graduations are happening and my son wrecked his dang truck that we JUST got for him 6 months ago. So now that's in the body shop getting the dang frame pulled and I'm locating panels / bumpers etc. for it.

    THINGS ABOUT 3' s (July 26th Update)

Man that's crazy about the Stug 3 plates. One's got retaining nuts and the other one has retaining bolts. I'm guessing that these plates were indeed retained by bolts since that's what you're going to.

    THINGS ABOUT 3' s (July 26th Update)

Thank you for that post. I just couldn't wrap my head around it either but was wondering the same thing that Bob asked. "Just what color were they supposed to be then?" lol

    THINGS ABOUT 3' s (July 26th Update)

Heya Bob, I'll get back to you on that. I couldn't believe it when I read it either. Just didn't make sense and I had the same question in my head. I've actually been a mechanic on the M109's and M88's but for the life of me can't remember what the tracks looked like in detail when it comes to...

    THINGS ABOUT 3' s (July 26th Update)

I'm really liking this build Ian. Lots of good extras and some great building techniques here. I'm getting ready to build a Panther A tank and am going to have ALOT of questions when I do because I've never built any armor subjects and don't want to go in a wrong direction with one. One of the...

    AMT '67 Mustang Fastback--Completed 05/20

I've only glossed before hand once....on my very first auto model when re-entering the auto world in 2014. After that I've always apply afterwards to seal it all in. The model is easier to handle while working with it the latter way so the BMF doesn't come off.

    AMT '67 Mustang Fastback--Completed 05/20

Thanks Bob! I hit this with some 2000 grit with light pressure and it sanded right out. Then I hit everything with 12000 grit to get a smooth finish. Gotta sand out the gouge on top of the L/H front fender though, mask off and repaint that one area and then it's off to gloss coating, BMF and...

Thank you Sherman, Paul and Martin!! Paul: Once I found out about these I just couldn't use the OOB stuff anymore. Finally got some Acapulco Blue on this thing yesterday. Gotta work on smoothing it all out when I feel like it's cured out enough to do so. Hood scoop is now fully installed...
