Finished the engine up this morning aside from a wingnut that I have to fabricate and put on the air cleaner. Glamour shots before she gets tucked away till a later part of the build. It's pretty close to my original 351W that I had waaay back when:

I'd really happy with that outcome. You're friggin' eons ahead of me in terms of weathering I can tell you that. Your efforts are to be commended.

Looking good so far Paddy. I've seen this chrome airbrushable paint from Green Stuff World that looks to be pretty good and have heard some good things about it. I've used Alclad and Molotow with some pretty good results but I am looking for more durable chrome as well.

Wow!!! You're really putting alot into this one Chris and you're right.....that is a big plane. Almost mistook it for 1/32 scale in that photo with you holding it.
