Yeah, I had already pretty much figured that out. Roden kits are notorious for being a pain to build. Anymore I pretty much get a full picture of the overall build and revise that to what I think will work better. (Usually it is a LOT better) I have it for later if nothing else.

My guess is this. They have been doing the 1/48th scale P51s for a bit and it seems they have been quite good so far. If they are smart they will scale up the 1/48th then tweak up the detail.
