I'd like to introduce a new book called Repairing the Panzers by Lukas Friedli

------------------------------------
Repairing the Panzer's is a hardcover book of 256 pages with 291 photographs and drawings. Who would it appeal to? I think almost everyone, but especially the Panzer modellers. I say everyone because there are pictures that would help any type of modeller as they portray damage or maintenance.
Broken into 7 chapters and an appendix this book covers:
1. Overview and Background
2. I-Dienste of the Field Troops
3. The Panzer Werkstatt
4. Armee, H.Gr. and the Homeland
5. Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance
6. Campaign Experience
7. Causes of Panzer Losses
Appendix (inc. Index and Glossary)
Well laid out and from my skimming well read the bonus in my eyes are the interesting pictures. Maintenenance being carried out, recovery, vehicle types not often seen all add up to give ideas for models and dioramas enough to last a long time. I highly recommend this book as a reference for modellers and those who want to learn more of the amazing individuals who kept the Panzer's fighting.
I bought my copy at RZM
