RB Barrels announced their KPVT and I quickly placed my order from Old Dog Models. I had been hoping that it would be an intricate multi part set with a separate cooling sleeve and barrel.
------------------------------------
The typical RB simple packaging.
Inside the resealable bag was the once piece brass barrel. It is beautifully machined and correctly dimensioned to the scale plans in M-Hobby. The flash hider is nicely done as well.

The walls of the conical section are a tad thick but twirling a blade within did thin them down acceptably.

Yet, I was a bit disappointed as RB could have made the barrel and cooling sleeve separate to show the delicate sleeve. To be more accurate, the cooling slots should be narrower and I will need to file flat spots on the first step after the flash hider cone as these are the lands for the wrench used to remove the assembly.
I would rate this 3.5 stars out of 5.
