A long-time member of Modelers Alliance, Christian Lacroix, AKA Phantom II, is our well deserved June “Modeler of the Month”.
Never shirking away from a challenge Chris takes-on what many of us would consider to be unbuildable kits. He not only takes-them-on, but improves them often to the N’th degree, turning what was a ‘cow’s ear’ into the proverbial ‘silk purse’ – Take a look at his B&V build in the ‘Floaters’ campaign for proof !!.
Christian is more than willing to share his expertise and knowledge on a wide range of subjects but if he has a ‘comfort zone’ then it’s with those ‘chipped-up’ Japanese aircraft of WWII. Being retired Air Force, he brings a great deal of first-hand knowledge to the table. His stick-with-it-‘ness, skills and ingenuity are readily apparent in each model he builds.
