Inside the Armour is best known for their resin interior sets, many of which include photo-etched details. However, they have also released several stand alone photo-etched detail sets applicable to the less catered Allied market. I received several for review.

We shall begin with set 35027; Rifle Slings for 1/35 Lee Enfield Rifles.

As can be seen in the photograph above, the fret is packaged within a zip topped bag with a heavy paper header stapled to it. Aside from the PE fret, there is a cardboard stiffener to protect the brass sheet from bending and a folded instruction sheet which covers how to use the ten provided slings. Five of the slings are smooth to represent leather while the rest are textured. Buckles and rings are provided in this medium as well.
The brass is well etched with nicely defined details although I personally will replace the rings with brass wire. The instructions are easy to follow with the most difficult task being the gluing of the rings onto the rifle proper. By using brass wire, I can drill into the rifle a bit to increase the gluing surface. With the rings being tiny and delicate, I do appreciate that Inside the Armour (ITA) has included five extra sets.

Next to show is set 35024 (1) British Armred Regiement Cap Badges. This is the first of two sets. As before, the fret is packaged within a zip topped bag with a heavy paper header stapled to it. Aside from the PE fret, there is a cardboard stiffener to protect the brass sheet from bending and a folded instruction sheet which identify the eight units represented with a dozen of each badge for a total of 96 items.
The brass is double etched but two of the unit badges are simply flat outlines, careful use of paint will be necessary. To use, simply carve off the badge on the figure and replace with the proper one from the fret. The units covered are:
