Inbox review of the 1/16 Hobby Boss Tiger 1.
Well the first thing to say is that the box it comes in is enormous it measures 750mm x 400mm. I purchased my kit from Hobby HQ in Melbourne Australia and the price and service were first rate.

The kit contains 8 individual boxes of parts, 22 page instruction book , a sheet of decals, a sheet of assorted sized Zimmerit applicators, a very detailed painting sheet and a small sheet of PE engine grills.

First thoughts of the rest of the sprues and the two halves of the main body of the tank are they are very clean with little or no flash, no marking or sinking on the surfaces, bolt heads, very nice weld detail and nice detail in general. My only negative comment so far is that the hatches don't appear to be able to be shown open if you wanted to have a crew in the tank.

A clear box of small screws, pins and other assorted bit and pieces looks interesting.

Separate track links and pins and rubber treads for the road wheels.

After a bit of a search on the internet a lot of 1/16 PE sets are available from tool clamps all the way to full sets of fenders and side skirts, as well as figures which could make a nice dio if the hatches could be opened up.
All ready to start building this but I think a bigger bench might be needed.
