The Italian M-346 is one of the most attractive aircraft since it has a strong avian look. It is a training aircraft following up on the M-326 whic is successfully fulfilling its duties all around the World in different air forces. This is the first Tricolore Special I got from RN Publishing.
There are 144 full color pages printed on high quality gloss paper. The covers are soft with the inner sides also printed in full vibrant color. What I find strange are the advertisements, which are indeed related to the subject of this monograph, but make it seem that it may be aimed more towards a different market than modelers. Indeed, there are no scale plans at all.
Two hundred thirty nine full color sharp photographs along with three full page advertisements, one table and seven color profiles round out this bilingual book. The development, introduction into the Italian Air Force, as well as its export successes are all there. A very nice book especially the prototype with the huge sharkmouth!
