The latest Something I 've been doing.........5 x WW1 Armoured cars - 10th Sept 2025

I am currently away on Holidays and posting from the hotel on our first stop. I had these done up to this point before I left.
My latest project for the same guy whom I did the previous WW1 tanks - 5 x WW1 armoured cars.

Beginnings on the Russian RB and then the rest up to paint stage.





So these are now built as far as I can go without paint. Next is the base paint , wheels and interiors. The vehicles with an interior are not completely assembled yet, so as I can access the areas for paint etc. I will give each one a small base as well.
The figures above are the ones that will be used with each car.
These are very quick to assemble and are a good fit, you just have to be careful with some of the very thin, small parts.

Yeah, I didn't realise that I started this thread so far back..........
.the reason being its all the off-topic and customer jobs that are continuing, rather than my projects and research, which I like to keep focused and have an end (well its meant to work that way)

Bases finally cut and ready for the next phase.....

I need to get myself another RR to do. Just got two British Tenders by CSM. You're making me want to get back to WWI era modeling Ian

DO IT!
I will do one for myself with a heap of battle damage and rust so that it looks as though it is just hanging in there. The body shape and front grille are beggin' for it, so I will give the commision job (above) a bit of a test with a milder version.
I am fighting the call of the siren and the Emperor on this........
I think I will match it up with a Mk IV Hybrid I have from Takom.
