HI Guy's have been away from the bench for a fair while. Just wanted to give a shout out to all has built this new home,it's fantastic. Still navigating my way around things but so far it's been easy as.:tens: Awesome work to all involved.

Good to hear that everything is settling down nicely for you. The missus and I enjoy going to Canberra,last easter we stayed for 3 days and mooched around an spent a day at the war memorial. Hope to see you building soon. :thumbsup

Not a great deal done just a little paint in the trench. I painted each plank individually with differing shades of brown,leather,canvas,flat earth and old wood some intermixed with each other.Totally randomness To start toning the wood down I used thinned down filters using translucent...

The little dudes ready for paint. The figures look cluttered with all the kit on but should paint out ok.

Trench part built.I have left it in two pieces for now to make painting the timber planks easier. Nice sub-tile timber grain detail. The sprue of accoutrements is full of items,way more than what the men carry. Machine gun,shovels,axe,barb wire cutters,grenades and all sort's of little kit...

Danny Vadas is the gentleman who is building the models and is in his late 70's (he didn't want his picture taken) He still has a very steady hand as it's all hand cut part's. The photo's do not do the work justice looking at them in the flesh they are amazing.

Well while at the model show a vendor had the trench kit I had on order elsewhere so I grabbed it so I could get the build back on track. The figures are multi piece but go together well with some careful gluing. The detail for a 35th scale figure is not bad and should paint up ok.
