    Billiken Frankenstien a true grail...

I'm afraid to touch this thing because ive never handled vinyl. Any tips? This was a gift, all I did was talk to the right guy at the right time and he sent it to me FOC. All he asked is I later pay it forwards, which i did gifting a Bandai ATAT to a friend as a Christmas gift to his son. This...

The Duke's Spaceport Launches the Falcon!

Yes, I want to hear about this. Theres a guy building the perfect grade Falcon on Starship Modeler, he started with acrylics then weathered with an oil wash. Looks great I asked and he did say that he primed first. That issue could be with the figures. I havnt painted any of my bandais.

The Duke's Spaceport Launches the Falcon!

what Ive heard is that you cannot put an enamel nor lacquer directly on the plastic. If you do it can break it down over time. Acrylics are fine and best for a primer, once down you can then do what you like. I read this in a discussion forum for bandais gundams. Its worth looking into.

The Duke's Spaceport Launches the Falcon!

Have to be careful because Bandais plastic can be reactive to some paints- that said after i stopped building and was still buying/trading kits I did score a Fine Molds Tie Fighter in 72. Nice looking little kit in the box.

Highest I've seen for the original is just under 500. Man I ignore those top off e bay prices! I would be rich as Elon if I could sell everything for what some of those guys are asking!
