If you can, get the AK book on the Hind, it is great, but sadly out of print

I'd like the 1/48 Helix, but I'm looking very hard at the "spinner" from Blade Runner as well as the Trumpeter 1/16 T-72, imagine a diorama with a 1/16 T-72 and 1/35 Hind together! The Hind is earmarked for an Afghanistan diorama down the track...

Yeah, I hear you cobber! Aircraft are not my strong point, I'm mostly a vehicle builder, but I have a real soft spot for helicopters and I adore the Hind, I got to fly in one in Serbia/Bosnia a couple of times........LOL what I would give to own one or maybe a KA-52 Alligator LOL

My apologies, it is a "mini hobby" kit. The cockpit is very toy like, but no one will see the kit so I just added a few things out of the scrap box. The Hind H from Trumpeter has a nice cockpit, the fit is bad once again over the engine covers, and the guns don't fit well. Spent most of last...

We can't get Zvezda kits in Australia (thanks to our anal wankers in charge). I have a one of my boys going to Turkey next month and have charged him with getting the 1/48 Zvezda Mi-35 and Mi-1, we have a heap of problems getting anything Russian here, I have to order from China!

I think this is the old Monogram kit, I use the Begemont decals or Star decals.

I got a 1/48 Trumpeter Hind for Christmas last year, wasn't really impressed with it, but it is a Hind. Somehow I managed to sit on the canopy, can't get a replacement, so I bought the 1/48 Hobby boss D/V Hind, as this was closer to the model that I wanted. The kit is most certainly old...

It seems that the 1/16 scale is starting to take off, so to will the after market stuff that I'm rather fond of. Well I will wait and see, father's day in Australia is in September and I can drop hints about it LOL....

It is close to $300 Australian, so it is a lot to ask. I certainly would like to build something like that, then I saw the price for a set of metal tracks LOL....even more scary LOL I will wait till she is in a good mood....(maybe a while)
