I'll do this. Probably as a Syrian or Libyan.

I've kinda wondered how long those trucks last with those guns mounted. How many rounds could they fire before it rattled them apart?

Looking forward to this James :popcorn

Interesting subject James, I have never seen one of these built up, so will it will be cool to see how it comes together.

Thanks guys. Still trying to figure out who's this will be. So after 1/2 hour of modeling this is where I am. 1 gun done and started on gun mount. 7 pieces per gun depending on which you model. Be aware that there are 2 versions of the gun. The ZPU-2 and Type 58. The Type 58 is the Chinese version. This gun can be buit mounted on the truck, towed and firing on the ground so lots of options.

So as you see not much, but a start. I will have to paint in modules though as there is some very fine detail.

Just been reading (a book) about F/A-18 Hornet operations in OIF.... the answer, Bob.... Not long if there was an FAC in the area !!

Great project, James, will be watching this one.

Okay, not much bench time unfortunately. But this is where I am now. Gun almost done. Lots of itsy bitsy fiddly parts and the elevation works.
