Here is the infamous thermos build from another site. It is a 1/100 Minotaur scale design copied from the StarTrek Museum website.
It is turned aluminum painted with Tamiya acrylics:

I've known Dan online for a handful of years and was fortunate to meet him in person this summer while we were down in VA...and that man does with a thermos what Picasso did with paint ;)
