Sr-71 Blackbird - 1/48th Testors WIP

The model is made by testors and its really a big pain in the.... Still with some work I think it will become a great model!!! I bought the Cutting Edge cockpit detail and I'm currently searching for the exhausts but I'm loosing my hopes on that!!

Very nice! I have the same kit but with True Details cockpit and wheel sets.

Don't think I've ever seen someone mask the cockpit for painting. Looks like you're whipping this right into shape Pedro. :pilot
 
Very ambitious project. Large model of a large aircraft. Seems I've reas it was a difficult model to build.

did you see those ejector pin marks? they look like bullet holes. I think you will do a bang up job Pedro
 
The sanding and filling wore me out since the plastic is strange. On my example, it gets 'stringy' (hiloso) when I sand.

Sometimes I wonder of the smaller scales represent these large subjects better.
