Sherman 18

Master at Arms
Since I messed up with my last entry, I jump on this one a DUKW. I always thought this was a cool looking vehicle :v

Played some with it last night

Most of these in photos have a wavy side, so I'm in the process of trying to just that, make it wavy.

I first started by chopping up some styrene strip and then used eye ball engineering :D to locate where to glue the strip. This was done until I felt that there was enough

I then started to coat the strip with thinned putty

It will take a number of coats before it starts looking right :hmmm Now have let the putty dry, sand and repeat :good:

I've promised myself to do this kit (or more accurately the British release), for years. Very interested in this project... Carry-on Jeff...

I put some more coats and sanding on the sides. Not much different looking than the last pictures :idonno so I did not take any.

I did get in some Archer markings, Eduard PE and Bison decals for Sprue Brothers

I really don't know how much of the PE I will use. I never have much luck with Eduard at all but there some masks for painting included. Who knows that might make it worth it.
