Polikarpov I-16 type 10 - Eduard 1/48th Scale WIP

Yes... its true!! You can believe your eyes!!! I'm building another I-16, this time the type 10 (thank god Eduard just made 4 different types hihihihi!!! )

I think I will do one of these 2 schemes ... they belong to the acrobatic team but... later on they where fitted with guns and entered combat duty!

Yep really enjoy building these little buggers !!! :D

Regarding the Eduard model... well overall its a good model... some minor fitting issues that can be solved with a toothpick and some rubber bands (MacGuiver Style Yeah!). The photoetched parts are easy to bend. The decals are good and there is a interesting selection of schemes! The exhausts have no holes and the engine is a little poor but quickboost has 2 aftermarkets for this purpose.
