2-I-2 BODY. The body, figure 2-2, is a circular structure which supports the guns, ammunition, containers, armor, and all rotating parts of the mount. It consists of an aluminum alloy ring approximately 50 inches in diameter and 9 inches in height. The guns are supported by the trunnion and cradle assembly which is attached to the body. The remaining components of the mount are attached to the body by means of brackets and bolts.

This is some awesome and comprehensive information! Now if someone would ever release a kit of the Pibber in 1/72 scale injected plastic, I'll be able to do one up better.
