sounds like a tax write off to me ... After all a modeling convention you must have to go anyway don't worry about the bills you can catch them up next month

I use one like this http://www.amazon.com/SE-MH1047L-Illuminated-Multipower-Magnifier/dp/B003UCODIA/ref=pd_sim_201_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1BN3BZV5MWGB69WW8Q4F from Velleman.
Only thing I find annoying with the visors I have tried is that they don't stay in place when you flip them up, they come falling down in your face again :vmad but this one is the best so far.

My Optivisor is 25 years old. It has some little knobs on the sides that I snug up to keep it from doing the saggy thing. I also have the magnify loupe on the left side (left eye domonant) but finally modifiied it as it wsn't centered in the vision path. :bang head It never fails that I have to mod a tool in order to get it to work right. :facepalm

Mats, I have the same one! I keep meaning to line the headband with some "moleskin" to keep it from digging in at various places. The LED light is invaluable!

That looked like a good investment, Mats, so I ordered one. Kinda wish I had read the reviews first, although my order shows shipped, the ETA is July 24 and that seems to be the issue for folks that have bought one. The price is better than OK, so I can wait to get one to try out. :good:

I need to look into those as I found that looking though my cheap lighted magnifiying lens, that it was making my eyes hurt focus wise ... I've been wearing my Donagan's this mprning, eyes better. So as I was cleaning the shop I found a setof lenses that look like they will fit those, shipping time sounds like they may be a go between & are waiting for product to arrive from manufactor ... :hmmm :idonno

I got one of these awhile back from Harbor Freight, and I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well they work.

I did remove the lights b/c those kinda sucked, but the magnifier itself is pretty nice.

Setup is just like Mats link. Has a fixed lens, a flip up lens and then a loupe on one side. Been thinking about trying to add a couple LED's in place of the crappy lights that came on it.

Ordered one through Amazon June 11, 2015, still has not arrived. I guess I'm out $5, but still makes me mad that Amazon does not get involved. Seller is BAD news!

Yiiipes, looking at his customer reviews is disconcerting :frantic

Cheers, Christian B)

Good news! After several excuses by the seller, I filed a complaint with Amazon. Refund issued today. Now I need to find another option...........

:coolio

Hopefully the flip magnifier is centered in the vision path. I have one on my Optivisor and finally modified it and moved it over about 1/4 inch and angled it so it was in the vision path of the visor. Works great now.

Hope it works well for you! (y)
