Coming in under the wire again!

I made some new barrels with a couple old needles (12 guage)

cut them on the Dremmel

then cleaned them up with this little tool and some sand paper

installed them with some CA glue....

and then used some gap filling CA and applied with a toothpick

marked off the prop for painting

and then applied a flat coat and used stretched sprue for the wiring.

Should have had this one done sooner but overall it was a fun (and tedious) little kit. I think this is my new favourite float plane!

I use to get those needles but somehow, I can't find them here....Weird :blink

They made better cannon barrels than other metal tubes .

I had scratched some beaching gear for this before the show happened last weekend.
