This diorama earned a gold award at the Lone Star Figure Show last weekend. Here are some pictures of the diorama with the award, the diorama with the title plate, and the award itself. Instead of medals, something with more of a Texas flair to it was awarded.

Congratulations on the award. It is well deserved! I love how you really captured the look of "annoyance" on some of the soldiers faces.

I was wondering :

what is the pinkish end part of the snake ,
is it shedding its skin or are the GI's trying to skin it ?

The pinkish tail of the snake is actually more of a maroon color. The snake is a red tailed racer and the tails were a mix of red and brown. It is just the coloring of the snake.
