Winter 1945/1946 - beginning on next year of Continuation War, the Soviet offensive on the Karelian isthmus failed. Germany continues blockade of Leningrad; although the same encirclement was interrupted so now Soviets change Leningrad into city-fortress (almost all civilian were evacuated). On the Kronstadt Soviet start build a missile silos that threaten almost all Finnish cities in the south of the country - in this situation marshal Mannerheim stated that keeping the same defensive action on is useless. Therefore, reluctantly but out of necessity gave the order to carry out a pre-emptive strike directed against the Soviet missile installations...

This was task for the LeLv.44 and his new Arado-234F. For this task Finns get from Germans a few V-1HE flying bomb...

I really like the scenario - great ideas there, Hubert, and I already have the perfect escort for your bombers....

Will be watching this one closely.

Recently other things (including work) absorbed almost whole free time thus models have been a little neglected. A small progress but always something ...

That Arado 234 kit is a bit of a difficult one to make a good build from. I picked one up years ago and it ended up with a lot of cuts and added styrene to get the shape and size right.

Seeing your build and how wellit is coming along has me pondering possibly finishing mine.

Looking good! (y)
