Agreed. On another Forum, a friend of mine who helped work on that movie showed pics from after some filming. He also had a close up shot of the nose of one of the Tomcats (an actual in-service bird with the US Navy at the time) which was sporting two Japanese flag kill markings on the nose! I decided that if I can get some 1/72 scale Japanese flag kill markings; I'm gonna add two of them to the nose of my recently finished F-14A Tomcat.
