I live in Lincoln County, the most depressing place on the planet and even during the summer months it rains (but not as much).
This climate would be good for filming a movie like the Twilight series of films but to actually live here is just horrible.
I used to live just accross the Oregon border in Payette Idaho and really liked the climate...very dry and hot in the summer! My goal is to move to Redmond but after doing some research the job situation in Redmond is not much better than where I am now and selling my house right now would be difficult since this area is very much like the great depression and nobody is buying real estate.
