got this one finished today, new revell kit. mostly uut of the box with some spark plug wires and bungee cords added on.

the rules back then said the doors had to bolted closed somehow. in the pictures I found of the real car they had a black piece of steel bolts there
 
From when cars were built out of metal.... and drivers out of granite !!

Love it, and those kit decal are excellent - no hint of opacity at all.
