F-111 in Vietnam

Here's something that looks like a good reference.

http://www.f-111.net/F-111A/F-111A-in-SEA.htm

Even got aircraft numbers to match up.

Looks like it's a A model. I'll get a proper startup shortly.

A models were Vietnam.

The B was the stillborn Navy bird, once the Navy was finally able to convince the govt that the portly airframe of the F-111 could not be modified sufficiently for naval use. Lessons from this project would be used by Grumman during the development of the F-14.

C was an Aussie model. One of the biggest external differences are the longer wings of the B model (also used on the FB-111 & later G models).

D & Es were being rolled out towards the end of the war...but I'm unsure if they flew them over there. The D was highly unlikely to have been used due to teething problems with the avionics and delays early in the production/development.

Bob, you need to git-crackin' on this!

Looks like you need to call in to work with a bad case of "Anal-glaucoma", where you can't see you ass comin' to work that day!

Looking forward to how you go with this!
