I've made some slow but steady progress over the last couple of weeks. I have the basic painting done. Here it is all shiny and waiting for decals.

This kit is about 2/3 decals. the wings covered with 4-color lozenge camo fabric decals.

Next comes the rib tapes. I get a few done most nights, still a few more to go.

After the rib tapes are finished it will be time to do the markings and try the pe machine gun cooling jackets.

With only a few days left the decals are done. It has been a slow process with a couple of dozen rib tape decals per wing surface but it looks good to me now that it is finished with the black crosses providing a pleasing contrast.

The Eduard decals go on well and stand up to some less than gentle handeling. I didn't use any setting solution but some Micro sol set them down nicely.

Here are the machine guns with the pe cooling jackets and other details, this went easier than I expected.

Since there are only a few struts and little rigging on a D VII I feel pretty sure that the deadline will be met.

Nice finish! Congratulations on completing on time Greg.

Nice little Fokker...couldn't resist.

So what's next?
