Alclad is sprayed:

I had a boo-boo on the left wing. I sanded it down and re-sprayed but it still shows up. I'll samd it again tomorrow when I spray various panels a different color.

Very nice. That red really brings the various metal shades into sharp focus. A really attractive scheme. (y) (y) (y)

Thanks, James. I did it overall in Alclad duraluminum then masked off a few panels and did them in dark aluminum. After that, I shaded various panels with a bit of the dark aluminum here and there.

The color call out was for Tamiya Bright Red but I went with MM Guards Red.

I felt myself faltering so I watched Red Tails again last night. That did the trick.

(y) That is look really good Firesmacker. I can see myself investing in some Alclad for my next NMF P-51. Love the red too.
The movie hasn't come out here yet :( - hope it does soon.

And how long did take take, less than a week? It takes me 6 months to build one of them - and it wouldn't look half as good :cheer: Well done!!
