CTA Entry - Burton - Humber Scout Car MK.1 Bronco

Good evening, kind gentlemen.

First of all allow me to thank all of you for the very encouraging reactions I got on my last post.

Thank you, it's much appreciated and helps me stay motivated.

I don't know whether it is the start of the new year but today finds me in a very generous state. I would like to start this post

by writing something nice about the Bronco kit.

"Something nice about the Bronco kit." That's settled then.

And back to hard reality.

The pictures say so much more than thousand words; you kind gentlemen may judge yourself as to the accuracy and quality

that Bronco provides in this kit. :( :(

What's worse:

test fitting the upper and lower hull revealed some serious issues, but I hope to overcome them. Otherwise my

works till now has been wasted time. Please give me a break, Bronco !

I will really be relieved to get this thing in the painting stage, fingers crossed.

Hope you likes ( because I don't :( )

;)

Well we like it alot Frank (y) (y) (y) It is disappointing to hear about the issues you have had with this one.

On the other hand when I build mine I can use this thread for reference :yipee

I really do like all your added detail!!!

Randy

I always like to read what the modeler does to improve accuracy (if that is their thing).

Regards,

Well if you're not liking it, you sure are putting a lot of love in it. :popcorn

Thats some seriously nice scratch work there. I think I have one of these in my stash. Will have to check and make notes from your experience. Nice (y) (y) (y) (y)

Thank you all, good-natured gentlemen !

That's true MP. It's the love for the subject not Bronco's interpretation that keeps me going.

And I assure you that if it wasn't for this forum the lid would be back on the box! You guys keep me motivated and I thank

all your for that. But it is challenging not to loose interest, I must admit.

And I promise I'll stop complaining (for now). :)

Complain all you like, at least you are fixing stuff and showing us the how and why. Really enjoying this build, so much to see and think about doing when I build mine. Keep on :soldier
James

From our point of view, bronco have made the perfect kit because we get to see it built properly ! Thats something probably 1 in 100 people would bother to do. I think secretly you are really enjoying this its just such a secret no one told you  Keep it up, you are inspiring others and thats the game. (y)

Thank you all for your feedback and words of encouragement, kind gentlemen !

Today some pics of detailing the rear suspension. Labour of love, it is ! :)

Hi there,

Bad weather kept me in all day and gave me some time to update the exhaust.

With this, the work on the chassis came to an end for now. Next up are the wheels. I'm replacing the vinyl ones provided

in the kit with resin replacement parts from CMK.

See you,

;)
