Had this in the stash for a long while - A 1/144 RG (real grade) Bandai Zaku II. This line is a bit different from the 1/144 HG (high grade) and 1/100 MG (master grade) as it's more like a mini version of their 1/60 PG (perfect grade kits. Confused yet?
If you compare the two 1/144 lines then the RG basically has far more detail and almost seems as if Bandai really don't want you to paint it as the parts come in multiple shades of colour and are broken up along panel lines.
I've done 2 of these RGs before and the best way is to paint all the parts (the armour pieces at least) separately then assembly it unlike the HG or the MG which are best built up unpainted first then broken down into sections once you know what to paint.
My main goal here is to tone down the gay pink of Char's custom paint job (normal Zaku IIs are army green colours).
