Thanks Ausf!!...This big scale stuff is quite a challenge.

I started the weathering process, beginning with the turret. I'm taking it slow, deliberately
keeping it subtle. For a couple of reasons...

One: I don't want to screw this up and have to redo it!!

Two: It really is a backdrop for the figures, so it should not be distracting.

I started with some filters, made with oils, very thin...not sure if it even made a difference.

Then washes and streaking with AK products...Here's some pics...

Filters should be subtle, I like what you have done. (y)

Hi All

I added some more streaking and some chips. Chips were done with Gouache, which has it's pros
and cons. Still undecided if I like using it, I'm working on a technique and if can get it
down to an easy method with consistent results I'll post an SBS.

As before I'm trying to be subtle and not overdo it, I think I'll set the turret aside and
start working on the hull. May come back to the turret later with some pigments and more chips.

Great job Tom, if you're looking for this to be like a well maintained in use type vehicle, I think you're there. If you're looking for used and abused, maybe a little more to go. Really like the layering. I can see the subtle build up (y)
