A (P) 61 Orb Weaver COIN ground attack

Best selling of all time?!
Wow!
I bet they never expected somebody to hack it up like this did they?
But if nobody’s ever done it, it was time.......riiiiight?

I'm near sure them Boys back at Morton Grove is shocked and yet pleased by your build. (Why didn't WE think of that!)
I hope to see CBU canisters & napalm tanks ready to deliver in the cool, quiet of darkness.

A Sidewinder or two perhaps against the odd MiG-17MF that may come snooping?
Bravo Chris!

Thanks for the input! Great ideas....if I only had more 1/48 spares! all my left overs are 1/32!! Drat!
I did find a couple of sets of resin wheels which I duly adapted to the kit. I've added as many antennas and odds and ends as I could find, sure wish I had ejector racks to add under the wings. There are now chaff/flare dispensers added to the tails booms (outboard sides only)
The exhaust pipes (will be under/ slightly behind the leading edges)

Since it's to be ground attack why not ditch the radar for something like a 105mm cannon in the nose? :woohoo:

This is a really Kool project. It reminds me of the B25 "Strap On" from the movie Suckerpunch.

I like IT! Crank the turret to port or starboard and put the fire on a ground target, like Puff The Magic Dragon of old! Neet-O!
