Hey Tanks and Things,

since I'm back to modeling 2 years ago I tried to get my skills up to date, so just a few results of my time I've spent modelling.
Here you go (I hope it's ok if I put 2 pics of each in here...):

Good old SIG. I liked the kit very much...

May I ask who makes the SIG kit? DML #6042?????

bingo tony - that's the dml sig33/#6042!

i built one myself! it's a quite basic kit that benefits from pe but it can be a fun build even without! (not the tracks!)

Laura, where did you get the skeletons? You need to talk to Matt Swann about them, he's looking for some for Rommel's Rod.

thanks aenea!

that's the warriors skeleton - pattern made by a certain gordy! ;)

i had to convert it a little bit from this:

to that:

making that dio and writing all the updates was real fun! :) too bad i cannot repeat that in a bigger size! :(

Wonder if it's large enough for Rommel's Rod. I'll shoot Matt a message.

nah! rommel's rod 1/24, this figure 1/35 ... that won't match!

i had the same idea until i was pointed out that the rod has another scale!

WOW !! Impressive works, people!! Things with tracks, things with winges...even death things! :woohoo:

My output in 2009 wasn't as high as in the years before, but....

I worked on this 1/35th scale Brummbär, which was supposed to be part of a Kursk diorama. But I lost interest lately and thus beeing not too enthusiastic about it
IMG_5499.jpg

Then the new Tamiya Jagdtiger, which had to be finished in a very short perod of time since it was meant to be published in a mag prior the release on the European market.

The only 1/48 piece I finished was this Panther G. Actually I just repainted an old model.

A comission build in 1/16th scale was this huge fellow. Basically a waste of time. But at least I know that I won't stick to this scale.

Ok and then there was the Now and Then-Sturmtiger, which was one of my most demanding and also rewarding projects. A collaboration with Robert Doepp who was crazy enough to paint the figures:

Thanks for looking and have a good 2010
