According to a little bird (IPMS Canada April Beaver Tales), a new tool F-86A kit by Clear Prop will be announced at this weekends Monson Model Show. This is the version with the "V" windscreen, narrow chord slatted wing and fixed H-Stab (only the elevator moved) without the extended fuselage fairing.

Cheers,

Canada's one and only Sabre Mk. 1, based on the F-86A-5-NA Sabre with the J-47-GE-13 engine. Assembled from US supplied parts at the Canadair plant at Cartierville Airport, it first flew 09 Aug 1950.

Sprue pictures have been released. They are working on modifications for other variants of the Sabre (still secret squirrel). The F-86A will aso be released in 1:72 scale later this year. Colour schemes and artwork are a work in progress.

Move over Matchbox. Yours will no longer be the only F-86A Sabre in 1/72 scale.
God be praised!
