Decided to try my hands and building this beastie. I took a look at the kit and it doesn't have nearly the warpage that Bob's bird had. There is a bit but not to bad. I will be doing something a bit different than the normal gloss orange bird. I want to try and go for one of the NACA White birds instead.
I'm guessing your kit was pulled from the mold to fast and the sprue was warped. Seems to be a very common thing with Revell kits. Can't even tell you how many Revell kits I own that have warped parts.
