    Spray chrome

    Never had a lot of luck with the chrome paint. I can get a good finish with Alclad but their chrome ( unlike the brass and copper) seems to revert back to Gloss black base after a week or so. Even after a week the surface will take finger prints if touched Clear coats turn chrome into shiny...

    Painters

    Quick question on painting high gloss Do you cut back to a perfect finish the colour paint before top clear coat or do you just cut back the clear ? I have some small specs of dust in the colour coat and wonder whether to tackle them now or get a good thick clear coat on and smooth that back.

    On the ramp

    Zero Type 21 engine

    Been searching the web for Zero engine detail, cant find 2 the same colour :-), all over black seems the common colour apart from those in museums which i suspect have been "blinged up" This one seems to be grey with a red back plate any thoughts ?
