Unfortunately, a large amount of information in this film is put it mildly inaccurate...

Polish Air Force was not destroyed at the airport during the first two days of the war - Polish squadrons were moved a week earlier from regular bases on masked airfields. Air Battles over Polish sky were fought for more than two weeks, after which many of the aircraft was evacuated to Romania and Hungary.

The cavalry never attacked tanks but infantry units only. In the Polish Army this kind of units were used for reconnaissance and harassing tasks. The myth of the tanks attacking by the Polish cavalry was a creature by the Germans after the September campaign for propaganda purposes.

The authors have mentioned about carried out by the Soviets (in agreement with the Germans) attack at September 17th, but did not mention that on the side of Germany's in aggression also actively participated Slovakia...

When I was lucky enough to visit Gdansk I took a trip to Wessterplatte to see where the Polish garrison fought valiantly for days against the onslaught :notworthy

Yes, this is Steyr ADGZ. Two of them were used by SS to support attack on Polish Post Office in Gdansk. The Post was defend by several hours by civilian (post employees) equipment on hand weapon only (few guns and rifles normally used by post security). All defenders who survived a battle were shot by Nazi in retaliation for resisting.
