(y) Not sure if it was green or not. With an operational lifespan of only a few weeks though I can imagine there won't be much information on the paint scheme.
 
Start date photos and I started to stick it together. Not much to it and if you leave a part out it makes it faster :facepalm

after an hour this is where I am. Need to start painting, but with the weather being so cold it will have to wait.

Here is where I left the part out, you should not be able to see though the hull at the rear. :( Going to have to live with it. I tried to pop the upper piece out, but could not with really damaging the rest of it.

I had to knock down the pins for the superstructure to get it to fit right.

What a neat little model. what happened to U Sherm? Got the ship Bug?? :v The USS Archerfish sank her with 6 torpedos despite the efforts of her 3 DD escorts. Good thing too! Armored deck and nearly 100 IJN aircraft, might have mad quite a difference at Okinawa. :popcorn

Ship bug? Maybe a little, I really want to do my sons boat when Hobby Boss releases it, so I thought why not practice some :eek:hyeah Plus ship models are cool and I want to expand some.

I just can't believe I left out a big part :pinch:

I did find some information as how this carrier is on the bottom. Looks like it broke in two.

Now with green. Not sure what is with the plastic on this kit, it does not want to take paint :idonno

I was also having issues with paint drying today/night :pinch: And it does not help when I mixed it way to thin :facepalm
