OSL Batman

Joe Hudson

Master at Arms
Hey guys,

I apologize for not being around that much but I will try to be a little bit more active. I have several different completed projects which I will share, the first one is my Batman bust.

I have a new bust that I just completed, it is a 3D print and about 200mm. I had him sitting looking at me for some time but decided to give him a go!

I painted him my usual way, all acrylics with a brush but just wanted to try something different and out of my comfort zone.

So I said what the heck! I decided to try an simulate an outside light source if a seedy section of town with all the neon lights and etc.

I took some purple and neon pink and went to town and holding my breath! 😂

Here are pictures of the before and with the light source.

Thanks for looking.

That is extremely effective! It does look like he's in a seedy part of town under the gaudy neon lights!
