Still waiting on a few aftermarket bits to arrive before I start. But I figure I can get begin the thread with a couple pics.

The kit came with decals and stickers to mark the Lotus. Even has tobacco decals! I managed to source some high quality replacements.

Pretty sure this kit came out in 1968. Back when the '49 was still racing. This is my Dad's favorite Grand Prix car of all time and Jim Clark was and still is his favorite driver.

I'm planning on this being a Christmas gift for him this year. So please internet, let's keep this between us ok?
