    I do wonder if the photo that shows the partially painted insignia was literally a WIP, maybe they finished the job before she flew again? If I get this to a base I think it would be neat to stage a couple of paint cans around.

    I use the elastic line stuff, not sure the size but I don't have to worry about heating up fishing line to make it tight. Looks like you got a plan Paddy, press on!

    I'll have to test them but they are pretty much dry now. I think you can reactivate them for a short time and work them some more with water.

    The top one is for another aircraft, think one of the Sopwiths, it was just a spare prop I decided to give a go with. I'm more inclined to go with the middle one. They will have a clear gloss squirted on them. Instead of oils I used the Acrylic oil substitute. Pretty much dry now.

    I hit the Hobby Lobby the other day and saw they had clearance prices on their oil paints. I picked up a couple, notice Monday they were completely out, maybe they getting out of the oil paints business.

    Don't follow me Mate, I haven't a clue where I'm going. That's pretty much the order of things. I'd venture to say to get some weathering done also but you do want it all to blend. I was thinking about a flat coat on the Fokker is due now most decals are on.
