    E-Type jag, Scale = big.

No real problem Bob its just a case of stick them where you want, no mounts or markings to show where they go so just glue to the carpet...lol Cant imagine they would be much good in a crash :)

Once you lose interest in a model you are much more prepared to do things to it you would never normally do. As it happens , once you dont care anymore if you mess it up you relax and just maybe what you do might work. These are the light lenses and surrounds once prized off the hood. What a...

    F16A - 1/48 kit from Kinetic

You almost need a jig to keep the whole thing in line, up/down and left/right, you could end up with a banana :-)

You are too kind Paul, i dont think i am any better than most here , i just have more spare time ;-) This evening i have prized the front headlight chrome surrounds off with the lenses and glass covers, i got most of the super glue off, cleaned the inside of the glass, chiselled away at the...

Thats an interesting site James, thanks for sharing. So do i prize the lights out, clean up the hood and respray, spray the chrome bits chrome again, polish the light lenses and dip them in future to get back where i was yesterday ?... and try and re assemble.

I am wondering about converting it to a roadster. Trouble is the Rear end is £100 which is almost as much as the whole kit ... Rust over all the blemishes could be an option I need to have a serious think...lol EDIT ha ha just seen the picture Piet :-) maybe i dont need to go that far with...

I haven't decided yet Bob this is the way to go on a future build. There is a guy in the UK making a resin back for this kit so its a roadster. The huge advantage with this is.....no windows, no roof and easy access to the interior for trim. Then build it as a track car and you can dump...

This where i have got too. Its not the models fault but if i join the front to the back it doesnt even fit on my work bench :)

Thanks but considering scrapping this now. Not happy with much of it TBH. If i cant look back at a build and think , yes, happy with that i dont see a lot of point in carrying on The chrome surrounds around the headlights dont really fit, they have to follow a really strange shape and they...

Thanks Paul I will make do with what i have, the rest of the model doesnt really warrant any real effort :-) Its far less noticeable from the outside so will live with it.

Those of you who have followed any of my builds know i tell it like it is :) I was forewarned about the glass issues here but i wasnt prepared for the wind shield to be so small it doesnt even fill the width of the aperture. What really annoys me is this kit has been produced on and off for...

This week i have been trying to tidy up my paintwork For reference what i have found is.. However careful i am i cant cut back the paint to get a gloss finish like i can spray from a can. So i sprayed a finish on the roof and there was on spec of dust, i flattened the area with 3000 wet/dry then...

    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

I tried to post on model cars magazine last week. Having been a member for 2 years and with 15 post so far they still wanted to "approve" my posts before they can be shown. I told them that i take offence at being presumed guilty when i have done nothing wrong and they said they need to...
