    Current Build

Hi everyone! Thank you for your kind comments. Spent the better part of the day working on the diorama, think I am nearing completion! Still need a base (kinda put the cart before the horse, just cannot locate 1/4" MDF in the greater Concord, NC area (UGH!). SO, until then, progress pushes on...

    Current Build

Moon Puppy asked me what I was working on, so I figured it would be easier to show him than try to explain. These are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th figures I have painted that I like, so I "figured" they needed a better place to hang out than in a display case. These figures and the dio is 1/16th scale...

    Plastics store in Atlanta,GA

Hey guys, thank you for the replies. Bummer there's not much in Atlanta. Perhaps I'll just hold out til Feb for the figure show. You think there will be much at that show outside of figures? Looks like the majority of shows happen down south in the earlier part of the year, versus later in the...

Hi all, Been absent for 6 months, getting "reestablished" in Charlotte after my move back in June. Finally have a shop established, although a fraction of what it was in Ohio! Ugh Thinking of making a "pilgrimage" to Atlanta next weekend to check out this store that was referred to me, on this...

    1/35th structures

Moon Puppy suggested I post some pics from my gallery on the forum, so here are a couple of a recent build. This is a from scratch 1/35th chateau/hotel that I started on January 1st this year. It is basically from my head, I have no reference photos of any type. It is ultimately going into a...

    Hello! New guy here.....

Tom, I built the masters out of Evergreen strip stock on a piece of 0.040" styrene sheet. So the detail to be seen was facing away from the Bottom sheet (which I carefully glued the strips to). Then built the mold walls around the window detail, poured RTV rubber and away I went! Made 5 more...

    Hello! New guy here.....

Sharkmouth, Thank you, I'm flattered. I have pretty much been a closet builder for the past 20 years. Haven't shared much with anyone outside my circle of friends (who aren't modelers, I might add). I appreciate you adding the pics to the post itself! Mike R
