Been working on this kit for a couple months and I'm happy to say it's done. Was a fiddly fitting kit but some of it was really spectacular and some parts not so much...

It's a repop of the Vintage Fighter kit from 2008. Surface was pretty thick overall...but after a base of Tamiya Black, the Alclad Airframe Aluminum went down ok. Some parts weren't so shiny though- like the horizontal stabs...no matter what I did, it resisted.

Bob..I had posted some pics in the What're you up to thread but didn't start a build thread since it was an IPMS review piece...it ought to be published in a day or two and I'll post the link here ;) No foil...just the aforementioned Alclad II shade...took almost three bottles too!

Paul...I've never built or even seen the 1/32 kit so I'm not sure. Brett Green's review might be able to help you answer that...
