Paul you can build the -5 out of the Tamiya P51 kit. not sure what all the modifications you'd have to make but one obvious one is the fillet tail, or lack there of. Its in the box.

As you can see at the left of center, the faces painted onto the drop tanks are included! It is the reason I know of these decals as they are better researched than the alternative, the sheet included in one of the Hasegawa releases.
