Everyone knew about the Handley Page 0/400 but WNW is also doing a HP 0/100. Cool beans. But the surprise kit announced at the Nationals today is 2 different Fokker Triplanes. A DR.I and F.I. Yeeh Haw :yipee

The Roden Dr1 is on my list so to use the decals that is in the box with the Albatros. Wonder if they will let me take one home. :mpup

Pictures tomorrow after I get home. I wondered about the HPs as there were the 2 different builds. The main difference is the engines and engine fairings (that I could see) The new Lancaster is also going to be a quite impressive model. The "canning" they did on all the skins really gives the model a look I have never seen before. The realism is OVER the top!

I asked Jason (one of the designers and head designer on the Handly Page how close the release looks to be. He said it coud be end of the year possibly December. I suspect it very well could be, but as we all know an unexpected problem could push that back a bit. I would not want to get him in trouble if he spoke out of turn so let's say a probable Christmas kit.

I can say that the HP00/100 with wings fully folded is a fairly stable build. Jason reached down between the wings (that are folded back) grabbed the fuselage and just picked it up like no big deal. Nothing seemed to flex or wiggle on it at all. Nice!

(pictures tomorrow I promise)
