Here's my Thread showing all the armor I have in progress on my workbench. These are the ones I've started as of December last year.
Here is the first one.
This is the RPM 1/72 scale Hochkiss H39 that has been a pain to build from the get-go. Bad seams, tough fit, excessively tiny parts, and finally, a missing fender. Don't know when I'll get this finished; it depends on when I find that fender:
Note: I found the missing fender so I should be getting some paint on this soon.
Next is an easier kit to do. This is the RevellAG 1/72 scale German bridge-layer tank based on the Leopard I. I got the bridge part done (it separates) and the roadwheels are on the torsion bars:
Here you can see where I got the bridgelayer all assembled except for adding the roadwheels. They will go on later after I get everything painted:
As you can see here, the bridge parts are not cemented in:
Here is is the German Leopard bridgelayer with the basecoat of green on it:
Some time ago, I had started a 1/72 scale Armageddon Panzerzeug BP44 Armored train. Well, earlier this year, I decided to get a little more work done on it. I assembled three more cars for it so that this is now about halfway done. After that, I'll need to sand the gaps where I filled them with CA, then add all the little detail parts. I also still have to set the wheel width on these so they fit on my display track right. That's why there are no wheels on the newest cars yet:
Back to my German Leopard Bridgelayer, in these pics you can see it all painted up in camo pattern. Now all I have to do is add the tracks to the roadwheels and then I can have this ready for decals. I need to finish this soon; those stupid bridges keep breaking!
For a little break from this monster, I decided a while back to start a little German Volkswagen from Military Wheels. I got the chassis done and the upper body about half done:
It looks pretty crude, but then it is a short-run model.
Okay, as of today, that is all the current Armor projects I've been working on this year. I'll continue to post more armor updates to this Thread so stay tuned to see my latest progress as it gets posted.
Meanwhile, thanks for looking everyone, comments are welcome always.
